Using the Tata Business Excellence Model as a framework, TQMS brings to the table a proven methodology in the institutionalizing of a culture of Excellence through a structured Action Planning process. These would be provided by the Organisation few days prior to commencement of the assignment, so as to ensure adequate preparatory time for meaningful engagements.
2. TBEM Awareness Session:> The team from TQMS will take the participants through a summarised TBEM Awareness module, prior to their commencing work on gap analysis & Action Planning. This awareness module will include key concepts on the Tata Business Excellence Model.
3. Engagement in “Deep-dive” Interactions: TQMS would engage in “Deep-dive” interactions with Functional Heads (one-on-one) and focus group discussions. All these interactions will be aimed at understanding the current levels of process maturity and measurement systems.

Gap Analysis and Formulation of Action Plans: Based on the observations and gaps w. r. t. process maturity, TQMS would facilitate the formulation of prioritised Action Plans aimed at strengthening the Organisation’s processes. The TBEM criteria will form the basis for formulating these Action Plans.

Identification of Organisational level Initiatives and Improvement Projects: TQMS would facilitate team formation; and the selection and prioritization of initiatives and projects which would need to be undertaken to meet Action Plan objectives. TQMS would subsequently assist / hand-hold the teams in the execution of these initiatives and projects.
6. Development of Functional-level Initiatives: Team members would cascade the Action Plans and initiatives across the organisation and present on the status on actions in the subsequent review meetings, which will be held at predetermined frequency.
Phase-3
7. Deployment of Action Plans: Based on the Action Planning analysis, TQMS would facilitate the implementation and deployment of the Action Plans in a focused manner.
8. Review Mechanism: The Organisation and TQMS will also decide on a review mechanism for the subsequent reviews of the set Action Plans and deployment thereof, at a corporate level. The teams would present the status of the Action Plans at these review meetings.
In addition to the methodology mentioned above, TQMS would also conduct Workshops like Process Improvement, Customer Segmentation and Core Competency, and Dipstick Assessments on a need-based and case-to-case basis.
